Four Seasons A/C Accumulator Tank

The Four Seasons A/C accumulator tank (also called an A/C accumulator or refrigerant accumulator) is a key part of the air conditioning system in vehicles that use an orifice tube. It sits on the low-pressure side of the system, between the evaporator and the compressor. It protects the compressor and helps the A/C system cool consistently.

What It Does:

• Collects liquid refrigerant so that only vapor goes to the compressor, which helps prevent compressor damage
• Contains desiccant that absorbs moisture in the system, helping prevent corrosion and freeze-ups
• Stores and meters refrigerant and oil, returning lubricating oil to the compressor
• Helps keep system pressures stable for dependable cooling performance

Why Choose Four Seasons:

• Four Seasons is an established name in aftermarket A/C and engine cooling components
• Built to meet or exceed fit, form and function requirements for the application
• Designed as a direct-fit replacement for easy installation

Replace the accumulator whenever the A/C system is opened for major repair, such as a compressor replacement. Doing so helps protect the new components and keeps the system performing as it should. Select the correct part number for your application from the individual listings in this product line.
