The Four Seasons Non-Thermal Fan Clutch is an engine cooling fan clutch, also called a fan drive clutch. It drives the engine cooling fan and keeps airflow through the radiator steady. Unlike a thermal (temperature-sensing) clutch, a non-thermal clutch does not respond to air temperature. It uses a fluid coupling that adjusts fan speed according to engine speed and load.
