ACDelco Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor EGT

The ACDelco Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor line is made up of GM Original Equipment exhaust temperature sensors. Each sensor reports exhaust gas temperature to the engine control module. ACDelco lists these sensors as GM-recommended replacements for the vehicle's original component.

Key Features:

• Sends an exhaust temperature signal to the engine control module
• The control module uses that signal to adjust fuel delivery and boost pressure, which helps protect exhaust after-treatment components from overheating and keeps them operating efficiently
• GM-recommended replacement for the original factory component
• Made to GM OE specification for fit, form and function
• Goes through the same stringent testing process as the original part

These sensors are built to give the same performance, durability and service life you expect from General Motors. They are a straightforward way to restore accurate exhaust temperature monitoring in a diesel or turbocharged engine's emissions and engine management system.
