ACDelco Electronic Suspension Front Wheel Vertical Accelerometer

The ACDelco Electronic Suspension Front Wheel Vertical Accelerometer (also called a front wheel acceleration sensor or ride control accelerometer) is a sensor used in electronically controlled suspension systems. It monitors the vertical motion of the front wheel and sends that data to the vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU).

Key Features:

• Measures vibration and acceleration of wheel motion. It does this by detecting the force on a spring inside the sensor.
• Sends real-time data to the ECU so the electronic suspension can adjust ride and damping.
• Designed to work with GM vehicle ABS braking and stability systems.
• Built for Original Equipment-level ride and handling, backed by the ACDelco and GM Genuine Parts program.
• Covered by a limited lifetime warranty on parts. See ACDelco.com for details.

A faulty accelerometer can cause ride control warnings or poor suspension response. Replacing it with an ACDelco accelerometer helps restore the factory ride quality and handling that electronic suspension systems are designed to deliver. Some applications may require programming after installation.
