ACDelco Professional Engine Oil Filter Adapter Gasket

The ACDelco Professional Engine Oil Filter Adapter Gasket (also called an oil filter housing gasket or oil filter mount seal) creates a reliable seal between the oil filter adapter or housing and the engine block. It helps keep engine oil where it belongs, so the lubrication system holds pressure and oil stays off the engine and the ground.

Key Features:

• Designed to replace the original oil filter adapter gasket when it hardens, cracks, or begins to leak
• Part of the ACDelco Professional line, which is engineered to meet or exceed demanding performance expectations
• Made to resist engine oil, heat, and repeated thermal cycling
• Helps prevent oil seepage and pressure loss at the filter mounting point
• Backed by ACDelco, a brand with a long history as GM's original equipment parts supplier

Replacing a worn oil filter adapter gasket is a practical way to fix oil leaks at the filter mount and protect internal engine components. Install it with a clean mating surface and tighten fasteners to the manufacturer's torque specifications for the best results.
