ACDelco Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket

The ACDelco Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket (also called a coolant bypass pipe seal or thermostat bypass tube gasket) creates a leak-resistant seal where the engine coolant bypass pipe connects to the engine. It helps keep coolant flowing along its intended path, so the cooling system can hold pressure and maintain the right operating temperature.

Key Features:

• Designed to seal the thermostat bypass pipe connection against coolant leaks
• Made to withstand the heat cycling and coolant exposure found in engine cooling systems
• Backed by the ACDelco name, a long-established supplier of OE-quality replacement parts
• Suitable as a replacement during thermostat, water pump or bypass pipe service

Replacing the gasket whenever the bypass pipe is removed helps prevent coolant seepage, overheating and low-coolant problems. Clean the mating surfaces before installation so the new gasket seats properly.
