ACDelco GM Original Equipment Engine Cooling Fan Resistor

The ACDelco GM Original Equipment Engine Cooling Fan Resistor (also called a radiator fan resistor or blower motor resistor for the cooling fan circuit) controls the speed of the engine cooling fan. It does this by regulating the electrical current sent to the fan motor. This lets the fan run at different speeds depending on how much cooling the engine needs.

Key Features:

• Genuine GM Original Equipment design, built to meet General Motors specifications
• Regulates current to the cooling fan motor for controlled fan speed
• Helps maintain proper engine operating temperature and A/C performance
• Made for dependable electrical performance under high underhood heat
• Designed for a straightforward installation as a direct replacement part

A failing cooling fan resistor can cause the fan to run at only one speed or not at all, and it can lead to overheating or weak A/C at idle. Replacing it with an ACDelco GM Original Equipment part restores correct fan operation. ACDelco is GM's official parts brand, and it applies the same engineering standards to its replacement parts.
