Standard Motor Products Knock Sensor Connector Pigtail

The Standard Motor Products knock sensor connector pigtail (also called a knock sensor wiring harness connector or electrical pigtail) is a replacement connector for repairing damaged, brittle or corroded wiring at the engine's knock sensor. A pigtail lets you fix the connection without replacing the whole wiring harness.

Key Features:

• Pre-terminated connector with wire leads for splicing into the existing harness
• Restores a reliable electrical connection between the knock sensor and the engine control module
• Built to hold up to engine-bay heat, vibration, oil and moisture
• Helps resolve knock sensor circuit faults caused by cracked or melted connectors
• Designed to match the original connector style for a correct plug-in fit

Standard Motor Products is a long-established supplier of engine management, ignition and electrical components for the aftermarket. It is known for connectors and wiring repair parts that meet or exceed OE expectations. Installation usually takes only basic wire-splicing tools: cut out the damaged connector, join the pigtail leads with proper crimp or solder connections, and seal the splices.
