Dorman Oil Filter Housing Assembly

The Dorman oil filter housing assembly (also called an oil filter adapter, oil filter mount, or oil filter base) is a replacement part for the engine's oil filtration system. It holds the oil filter in place and routes oil to and from the filter. A cracked, warped, or leaking housing can cause oil leaks, low oil pressure, and poor lubrication, so replacing it helps protect the engine.

Key Features:

• Replaces the original oil filter housing or adapter on the engine
• Designed to match the form, fit, and function of the original part
• Provides a secure mounting point for the oil filter and keeps oil passages sealed
• Often replaces original housings made of plastic or other materials that can crack or leak with age, heat, and repeated heat cycles
• Dorman engineers its replacement parts to address common failure points in the original design

Dorman is a long-established supplier of aftermarket replacement parts. Choose the variant listed for your application to get a reliable repair that helps restore proper oil flow and filtration. Replacing the gaskets and seals and using fresh oil and a new filter during installation is good practice.
