Dorman Engine Coolant Water Outlet Flange

The Dorman Engine Coolant Water Outlet Flange, also called a thermostat housing or coolant outlet, is a replacement part for the engine cooling system. It connects the thermostat to the cooling circuit and routes coolant out of the engine to the radiator. It helps the engine hold a steady operating temperature.

Key Features:

• Replaces the original coolant outlet flange, which can crack, corrode, warp or leak with age and repeated heat cycles
• Made to match the form, fit and function of the original part for a straightforward installation
• Seals the thermostat area to help prevent coolant leaks and overheating
• Built from materials suited to continuous exposure to hot coolant and engine heat
• Backed by Dorman's broad range of aftermarket replacement parts

Why Replace It: A leaking or damaged water outlet can cause coolant loss, low coolant levels and engine overheating. Replacing a worn flange restores a reliable seal and protects the engine from heat damage. When you replace it, also check the thermostat, gasket or seal, and coolant condition.
