MAHLE Engine Cooling Fan Clutch

The MAHLE engine cooling fan clutch (also called a thermostatic fan clutch or viscous fan clutch) controls the speed of the radiator cooling fan. It helps the engine stay at a stable operating temperature. MAHLE is an OE supplier and a well-known name in engine cooling and thermal management. Its replacement fan clutches are built to the quality standards expected of original equipment.

Key Features:

• Temperature-sensitive operation that engages the fan when more cooling is needed and lets it freewheel when less is needed
• Helps reduce engine load, noise and fuel consumption when full fan speed is not required
• Built for durable, consistent performance in demanding underhood conditions
• Engineered as a direct replacement for the original fan clutch
• Helps protect against overheating and the engine damage it can cause

A worn or failing fan clutch can cause overheating, poor air conditioning performance, excess fan noise or reduced efficiency. Replacing it restores proper cooling system operation. Select the correct part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
