EBC DP31997C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads

The EBC Redstuff DP31997C brake pads represent a significant advancement in ceramic brake pad technology, designed for enthusiasts who demand exceptional stopping power without the mess of traditional performance pads. These pads utilize a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles that delivers both outstanding performance and remarkably clean operation.

Key Features:

• Ultra-low dust formula reduces brake dust by 60-90% compared to conventional pads
• Ceramic-enhanced compound for superior braking performance and longevity
• Excellent cold bite with improved performance as temperatures rise
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions rotors and accelerates bedding process
• Proven to reduce stopping distance by up to 13 meters from 100 mph compared to OEM pads
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for consistent, predictable braking
• Minimal dust produced is non-metallic and easily cleaned with water
• Most applications approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation

Performance Notes:

The Redstuff compound provides immediate stopping power right from cold starts, matching or exceeding OEM pad performance before reaching operating temperature. As a hard-wearing performance pad, proper bedding is essential—allow up to 1000 miles for the pads to fully conform to your brake rotors and achieve optimal performance. This bedding period ensures maximum contact area and longevity.

Ideal for fast street driving, spirited canyon runs, and repeated heavy braking situations where both performance and cleanliness matter. The ceramic formulation represents a substantial improvement over earlier Redstuff compounds, offering longer life, better braking performance, and quieter operation.
