Mishimoto MMTH-TAC-24-RRD Rear Recovery Point Tow Hook, Red Forged Alloy Steel

The Mishimoto MMTH-TAC-24-RRD rear recovery point tow hook gives the rear of the vehicle a dedicated anchor for vehicle extraction. It is forged from alloy steel and finished in red powder coat. It works with the usual recovery hardware, from D-ring shackles to soft shackle rigging.

• Forged alloy steel construction: forging aligns the grain structure of the steel, so the hook resists bending and cracking under dynamic recovery loads.
• 18,500 lb working load limit: each hook is rated at 18,500 lbs WLL.
• Two-stage corrosion protection: an electrogalvanized base layer is sealed under a red powder coat topcoat to block moisture and salt.
• Dacromet-coated hardware: every fastener is black dacromet-coated, matching the protection of the hook body. This helps prevent rust and seizing at the mounting interface.
• Recessed bolt heads: the bolt heads sit flush within the mount profile, so they are not exposed to rocks, ledges and brush on the trail.
• Factory step retained: the hardware kit includes the washers needed to reinstall the factory OEM drop-down step.
• Bolt-on installation: no drilling, cutting or modification is required.
