Mishimoto MMTH-TAC-24-FBK Front Recovery Points Tow Hook, Forged Steel, Black

The Mishimoto MMTH-TAC-24-FBK front recovery point (tow hook) is built for trail recovery and towing, from static pulls to kinetic rope extractions. It is forged from alloy steel and finished in black powder coat.

Key Features:

• Forged alloy steel construction: Forging aligns the grain structure of the metal. This gives high tensile strength and resists bending and cracking under dynamic recovery loads.
• 17,000 lb working load limit: Rated for a wide range of recovery loads.
• Compatible with D-ring and soft shackles: The opening geometry accepts both without modification, so you can use steel or synthetic rigging hardware.
• Recessed bolt heads: The bolt heads sit flush with the recovery point surface. This removes the exposed hardware that can shear if the front end hits a rock or obstacle.
• Corrosion protection: Electrogalvanizing seals the steel before the powder coat is applied. This blocks moisture and salt at the base metal.
• Black dacromet hardware: The fasteners carry the same corrosion protection. This helps prevent rust migration and seizing at the mounting interface.
• Direct-fit design: No drilling, cutting, or modification is required.

A strong, corrosion-resistant front recovery point gives you a dependable anchor when you need to be pulled out on the trail. Mishimoto also lists a matching rear recovery point, MMTH-TAC-24-R.
