WAI ETBW159 Electronic Throttle Body Assembly

The WAI ETBW159 is a replacement electronic throttle body (ETB) designed to restore proper drive-by-wire throttle control to compatible vehicles. WAI Global is a trusted name in the automotive aftermarket, supplying quality replacement components for a wide range of domestic and import applications.

The electronic throttle body is a critical component of the engine's Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system. It replaces the traditional mechanical cable linkage between the accelerator pedal and the throttle plate, allowing the Engine Control Module (ECM) to precisely regulate airflow into the engine based on redundant signals from the accelerator pedal position sensor.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for the original electronic throttle body
• Integrated throttle position sensor (TPS) transmits real-time valve position data to the ECM
• Internally mounted DC motor controls the butterfly valve opening with precision
• Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable, consistent performance
• Supports proper function of cruise control, traction control, and stability control systems
• Helps maintain optimal air-fuel ratio for improved emissions compliance and fuel efficiency

Installing a quality replacement throttle body like the WAI ETBW159 can resolve symptoms such as rough idle, poor throttle response, hesitation, or throttle-related fault codes. As a direct OE-style replacement, it is designed to install using the existing mounting hardware and electrical connector without modification.
