3M 64763 High Performance Green Masking Tape 401+ 48mm x 55m

The 3M High Performance Green Masking Tape 401+ (48 mm x 55 m) is a premium crepe paper masking tape engineered for critical industrial and automotive painting applications. Designed to deliver consistently sharp, clean paint lines, this tape performs reliably even in high-temperature environments such as paint baking ovens and powder coating operations.

The distinctive green crepe paper backing improves visibility and accuracy during masking, while the natural/synthetic rubber adhesive system provides strong holding power with clean, residue-free removal — even from difficult surfaces such as EPDM rubber moldings and painted steel.

Key Features:

• Withstands surface temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes in paint bake operations
• Resists paint bleed-through for sharp, defined paint separation lines
• Highly conformable — remains in place around corners, over contours, and on irregular surfaces
• Removes cleanly in one piece with no adhesive residue
• Superior adhesion to metal, rubber, glass, and plastic
• Green backing enhances visibility and masking accuracy
• Better UV resistance compared to standard masking tapes
