URO 928 574 573 05 HVAC Heater Control Valve for Porsche

The URO Parts 928 574 573 05 is a replacement HVAC heater control valve designed to restore proper cabin heating performance on compatible Porsche vehicles. This valve regulates the flow of hot engine coolant into the heater core, giving the driver control over cabin temperature.

How It Works:

The heater control valve is a vacuum-operated unit positioned in the engine bay near the firewall. When the heater controls are set for no heat, engine vacuum pulls the valve closed, blocking hot coolant from reaching the heater core. Over time, the internal diaphragm can rupture or the valve body can degrade, causing the valve to stick open and leaving the driver unable to turn off cabin heat — a common failure on these platforms.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for the OEM Porsche heater control valve
• Vacuum-operated design matches original equipment function
• Restores proper on/off control of cabin heat
• Latest revision in the 928 574 573 series, superseding earlier suffixes (-03, -04)
