Dynamic Friction 9512-20009 DFC Geomet Coated Brake Rotor - Plain

The Dynamic Friction Company (DFC) 9512-20009 is a plain-style brake rotor featuring a premium Geomet® protective coating, engineered to deliver long-lasting corrosion resistance and consistent braking performance. Geomet is a water-based, zinc-flake coating applied to the entire rotor surface — including the hat, vanes, and edges — providing superior rust protection compared to traditional painted or uncoated rotors.

Key Features:

• Geomet® Coating: Full-surface corrosion protection using an industry-leading zinc-flake technology, resisting rust from the first installation without requiring break-in burn-off to clear a paint coating
• Plain Disc Style: Smooth, flat friction surface designed for street and everyday driving applications
• Precision Machined: Computer-balanced and machined to OEM-equivalent tolerances for minimal runout and vibration-free braking
• High-Carbon Iron Alloy: Cast from premium gray iron for superior fade resistance and thermal stability under demanding braking conditions
• Direct OEM Replacement: Engineered as a bolt-on replacement requiring no modification for proper fitment and function
• Silver Aesthetics: Geomet coating provides a clean, silver metallic appearance that remains visible through open wheel designs

Dynamic Friction Company rotors undergo rigorous quality control checks including dimensional inspection and dynamic balance testing. The 9512-20009 is an ideal upgrade or direct replacement for drivers seeking improved corrosion protection and a cleaner appearance over standard uncoated rotors. Compatible with most OEM and performance brake pad compounds.
