EBC VR3003CHBR Floating Conversion Two-Piece Brake Rotor

The EBC VR3003CHBR is a high-performance floating conversion brake rotor designed for enthusiasts seeking a significant upgrade over standard OEM brake hardware. EBC's floating rotor design features a two-piece construction with a lightweight aluminum hat (bell) paired with a precision-machined iron rotor ring, allowing the ring to "float" independently on drive bobbins for superior thermal management and reduced brake judder.

Key Features:

• Two-Piece Floating Design: The rotor ring floats independently of the aluminum hat, minimizing heat transfer to the hub and reducing thermal stress cracking
• Lightweight Aluminum Hat: Significantly reduces unsprung rotational weight compared to traditional one-piece cast iron rotors
• High-Carbon Iron Rotor Ring: Precision-machined for consistent thickness variation (TV) and improved pad bite
• Drive Bobbins: Allow the rotor ring to expand and contract freely under heat cycling, virtually eliminating brake disc warping
• Direct Bolt-On Conversion: Engineered to replace OEM rotors without requiring bracket or caliper modifications
• Slotted and/or Drilled Options: Enhances pad degassing and bite, keeping rotor surfaces clean and consistent
• OEM-Grade Finish: Protective coating on the hat to resist corrosion during storage and daily use

EBC floating conversion rotors are ideal for track day use, spirited street driving, and performance applications where heat management and reduced rotor warping are critical. Compatible with EBC's full range of performance brake pads for a complete braking system upgrade.
