Dynamic Friction 9002-73042 DFC Geomet Coated Brake Rotor - Plain

The Dynamic Friction Company (DFC) 9002-73042 is a plain-style brake rotor featuring a premium Geomet® protective coating — a zinc and aluminum-based, water-based coating that provides exceptional corrosion resistance without the environmental concerns associated with traditional zinc plating or paint.

DFC's Geomet coated rotors are engineered to OE (Original Equipment) specifications, ensuring a precise, no-modification fit and restoring factory braking performance. The Geomet coating covers the entire rotor — including the hat, vanes, and edges — delivering a clean, professional appearance right out of the box while protecting against rust and corrosion throughout the rotor's service life.

Key Features:

• Geomet® Coating: Advanced zinc/aluminum-based coating applied to the entire rotor surface for superior corrosion protection compared to standard e-coating or paint
• Plain (Non-Drilled/Non-Slotted) Design: Smooth rotor face ideal for everyday street driving and OE replacement applications
• OE-Quality Manufacturing: Precision machined to exact OEM specifications for accurate fitment and consistent braking
• Balanced Construction: Computer-balanced to minimize vibration and reduce brake pedal pulsation
• Environmentally Friendly Coating: Geomet coating is a water-based, chrome-free, RoHS-compliant finish
• Ready to Install: No cleaning or prep required — Geomet coating is brake-ready and does not need to be removed from the friction surface

Designed as a direct OEM replacement, the DFC 9002-73042 Geomet coated plain rotor is an excellent choice for drivers seeking long-lasting corrosion resistance and reliable, consistent stopping power in a factory-style rotor.
