Product Details

The Genuine CA1318940 is a direct-fit exterior door handle switch assembly connector designed for Cadillac vehicles equipped with a passive entry system. This replacement microswitch connector restores proper operation of the door handle touch sensor without requiring full door handle assembly replacement.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM-style replacement for the exterior door handle passive entry microswitch connector
  • Plug-and-play design requires no splicing, soldering, or special electrical tools
  • Restores keyless passive entry door handle functionality
  • Designed specifically for Cadillac models with factory passive entry (keyless touch-to-open) systems
  • Cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire exterior door handle assembly

The factory door handle microswitch connector is prone to failure over time due to normal wear or moisture intrusion. When this occurs, the passive entry system — which allows the door to unlock with a simple touch of the handle — may stop functioning. The CA1318940 connector assembly targets this failure point directly, allowing for a straightforward swap without purchasing the entire door handle. Part number cross-references in the same family include CA1318958, CA1318962, CA1318970.

This is one of those rare cases when I'm really eager to provide feedback because every part of this purchase transaction was simply outstanding! It was easy and straightforward to find the item (helmet) and buy it online, the price was much better than competing stores, and I was so happy when it arrived on my doorstep a mere two days after I bought it! Communication via email was clear and informative, and the helmet itself I'm very pleased with and it was packaged securely and safely. I really appreciate all the hard work by Autoplicity to make this one of those truly good shopping experiences. Thank you!

I ordered 1 part and got billed for two, and received two. But i only need one, so I'm still trying to return the extra one. No phone number to call either.
