Amana-Goodman SER2A08012S Sensata R-32 Refrigerant Leak Detection Sensor

The Goodman SER2A08012S is an OEM Sensata R-32 refrigerant leak detection sensor designed for use with Goodman and Amana R-32 evaporator coils. As an A2L-classified refrigerant, R-32 systems are required by safety standards to include a refrigerant leakage detection system — this sensor serves as the critical detection component in that assembly.

Manufactured by Daikin Comfort Technologies, this direct replacement sensor monitors refrigerant levels within the evaporator coil enclosure, triggering the system's mitigation protocol if a leak is detected. It is engineered to integrate with compatible furnace integration kits and indoor air handler units that use R-32 refrigerant systems.

Key Features:

• OEM Sensata R-32 gas sensor for Goodman and Amana brand evaporator coils
• Designed for use in R-32 (A2L) refrigerant leak detection systems
• Compatible with Goodman and Amana R-32 cased and uncased evaporator coil models
• Works in conjunction with compatible furnace integration kits to provide a complete leak detection and mitigation solution
• Direct OEM replacement part — MPN: SER2A08012S
• Manufactured by Daikin Comfort Technologies

This sensor is a direct replacement part for R-32 HVAC systems requiring refrigerant leak detection compliance. Always disconnect power before servicing or installing this component.
