Fel-Pro 26948PT Head Gasket

The Fel-Pro 26948PT Head Gasket (also called a cylinder head gasket) seals the joint between the engine block and cylinder head. It keeps combustion pressure in the cylinders and keeps coolant and engine oil in their passages.

Key Features:

• Seals the cylinders to maintain compression and keeps coolant and engine oil out of the cylinders
• Built to handle the expansion, contraction, warping and rubbing of the mating surfaces
• Fel-Pro head gaskets are designed so no additional sealers are needed
• Premium materials compensate for surface imperfections and help retain torque
• Most Fel-Pro head gaskets have directional markings to help with correct installation

Before installing, check the cylinder head surface finish and flatness. Fel-Pro has designed gaskets for the real-world repair environment for over 100 years. This head gasket restores a reliable seal and helps prevent rough running and power loss caused by a failing head gasket.
