Wells 8H1271 Hvac Blend Door Actuator

The Wells 8H1271 is a replacement HVAC blend door actuator designed to restore proper temperature control to your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. The blend door actuator is a small electric motor mounted within the HVAC housing behind the dashboard that controls the position of the blend door — the flap responsible for mixing heated and cooled air to deliver the cabin temperature you select.

When the original actuator fails, common symptoms include the inability to adjust cabin temperature, airflow stuck at a fixed temperature setting, inconsistent heating or cooling, or a rhythmic clicking or ticking noise from behind the dashboard. Replacing the faulty unit with the Wells 8H1271 restores accurate, responsive climate control.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for the original blend door actuator
• Engineered to OE specifications for proper fit, form, and function
• Restores full range of temperature adjustment through the HVAC control panel
• Built to withstand automotive vibration and thermal cycling
• Designed and tested by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in automotive electrical components

After installation, a recalibration or relearn procedure may be required so the HVAC control module can recognize the new actuator's travel limits and properly deliver full hot and full cold airflow.
