Dayco 5070840 Poly Cog Serpentine Belt 7-Rib 84.66 Inch

The Dayco 5070840 Poly Cog serpentine belt is a heavy-duty 7-rib belt designed for demanding diesel and high-output engine applications. With an outside length of 84 21/32 inches and industry designation 7PK2135, this belt delivers reliable power transmission to critical engine accessories including the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and water pump.

Key Features:

• Transverse groove design runs cooler (up to 50° F) and dramatically reduces rib cracking, increasing belt life by at least 40%
• Grooved design provides flexural stress relief for increased flexibility in both normal and backside bending
• Features more polyester cords per inch to meet higher torque and power pulses, with specially treated cords that resist stretching and ensure length stability
• Computer-designed cog placement eliminates harmonic squeal while heavy-duty construction provides additional integrity
• EPDM compound with rubber backside for durability and heat resistance

This poly cog belt is engineered for commercial trucks and heavy-duty vehicles where standard belts may not provide adequate service life. The high-grade engineered polymer construction is specifically compounded to resist heat and harsh under-hood environments experienced in over-the-road and off-road conditions.
