Product Details

The Bapmic 11 72 7 837 456 is an aftermarket replacement secondary air injection control valve designed to restore proper emissions system function on compatible BMW vehicles equipped with the 3.2L inline-6 engine. This valve is a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment Pierburg unit and meets or exceeds OEM design specifications.

What It Does:

The secondary air injection control valve regulates the flow of fresh air into the exhaust stream during cold engine starts. This process supports more complete combustion of exhaust gases, reduces harmful tailpipe emissions, and helps bring the catalytic converter up to operating temperature more quickly — keeping the vehicle in compliance with emissions standards.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement for BMW part number 11727837456
  • Aftermarket part manufactured by Bapmic to meet or exceed original design specifications
  • Replaces Pierburg OEM reference number 7.22748.18.0 (722748180)
  • 12-month warranty
  • Direct bolt-on fitment — no modification required

OEM & Cross-Reference Part Numbers:

  • BMW OEM: 11 72 7 837 456 / 11727837456 / 11-72-7-837-456
  • Pierburg: 7.22748.18.0 / 722748180
  • Also cross-references: 11727830680
