Dometic 9610006978 Marine A/C Installation Kit Without Pump Air Conditioning - GT16

The Dometic 9610006978 is the dedicated installation kit for the GT16 16,000 BTU marine air conditioning system, supplied without a seawater circulation pump. This kit is designed for new GT16 installations where the vessel's existing seawater pump will be reused, providing all the ancillary components required to complete a clean, professional marine A/C installation.

The Dometic GT series delivers reliable climate performance in a compact, flexible package. The GT16 platform supports reverse-cycle heating and cooling at 16,000 BTU/h and is engineered as a drop-in replacement for older self-contained marine A/C systems. The installation kit bundles the supporting hardware and distribution components needed to bring the system online without duplicating pump hardware already in service aboard the vessel.

Key Features:

• Designed specifically for the Dometic GT16 16,000 BTU marine air conditioning system
• No pump included — ideal for installations reusing an existing seawater circulation pump
• Supports GT16 reverse-cycle cooling and heating operation
• Compatible with the GT16's rotatable blower positioning for flexible cabin placement
• Works with GT16 units using R454B low-GWP refrigerant
• Suitable for both 115V and 230V GT16 configurations (50/60 Hz)
• Simplifies new installation by bundling required accessory components

This kit is the correct choice when upgrading or replacing a marine A/C system and the existing seawater pump is serviceable and properly sized for 16,000 BTU flow requirements. Always verify pump flow capacity against Dometic's published specifications prior to installation.
