Product Details

The Wells 4P1205 is a distributor ignition pickup designed to replace the original magnetic reluctor or Hall-effect pickup assembly inside the distributor. This sensor is responsible for triggering the ignition module by detecting the position of the distributor reluctor wheel and sending a precise timing signal to fire the spark plugs at the correct moment.

Wells Vehicle Electronics is a trusted OEM-quality manufacturer of ignition and engine management components, known for producing parts that meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement for the original distributor ignition pickup
  • Precision-engineered to deliver accurate timing signals to the ignition module
  • Built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Designed for reliable, long-term performance in demanding engine conditions
  • Helps restore proper ignition timing, idle quality, and overall engine performance

A failing distributor pickup can cause a wide range of drivability issues including hard starting, rough idle, misfires, and stalling. Replacing it with a quality unit like the Wells 4P1205 restores proper ignition system operation.

You have what I needed at a fair price, good shipping time

First time ordering will follow up with another review

Fast delivery

This company is super fast to get you your order! I ordered online and figured it would be at least a couple days or so until my order would even get processed. I think they overnighted it to me! The package showed up undamaged and sealed. Unfortunately, I may have to return the product as I am thinking I would like the spikes shorter but that is no fault of Thmotorsports. Hopefully their customer service is as superior as their ordering and shipping. At this point I would definitely shop there again and recommend them.

Super fast and easy

Very quick turnaround with best online price. Would highly recommend!
