Lennox 14J82 OEM Thermostatic Expansion Valve TXV Kit

The Lennox 14J82 is a genuine OEM Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) Kit, also known by manufacturer part number 100679-55. This replacement TXV is engineered to regulate refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil in compatible Lennox air conditioning and heat pump systems, maintaining peak system performance and energy efficiency.

Key Features:

• Genuine Lennox OEM replacement part — ensures proper fit and function
• Regulates refrigerant flow to maintain correct superheat levels at the evaporator outlet
• Helps protect the compressor from liquid refrigerant return
• Dynamically adjusts refrigerant flow rate in response to changing cooling load conditions
• Engineered for reliable, long-term performance in demanding HVAC applications

How It Works:

The TXV uses a sensing bulb thermally connected to the evaporator outlet to monitor refrigerant temperature. As cooling demand fluctuates, the valve automatically meters the refrigerant entering the evaporator, keeping superheat within the optimal range and ensuring efficient heat transfer throughout the refrigeration cycle.

Part Numbers:

• Lennox Catalog Number: 14J82
• Manufacturer Part Number (MPN): 100679-55
