Carrier ME9S240-HP Sporlan E9 Series Refrigerant Solenoid Valve 1/2" ODF R-410A High Pressure

The Carrier ME9S240-HP is a Sporlan E9 Series normally closed refrigerant solenoid valve engineered for precise flow control in commercial HVACR systems. Featuring a 1/2" ODF (sweat) connection and a 9/32" port, this high-pressure-rated valve is designed for demanding R-410A applications as well as a broad range of CFC, HCFC, and HFC refrigerants. The valve body ships without a coil — a compatible Sporlan MKC-2 or OMKC-2 coil must be purchased separately.

• 1/2" ODF solder end connections with extended copper tails for easy brazing without disassembly

The E9 Series design allows brazing using low or no silver content brazing alloy without risk of internal component damage. The pilot-operated disc construction requires only 1 psi minimum pressure differential for full operation, making this valve well suited for suction line service.
