AMP Research AMP-86254-01A PowerStep Smart Automatic Power Running Board

The AMP Research AMP-86254-01A PowerStep Smart is an automatic power running board designed to provide safe and convenient entry and exit for truck and SUV owners. Engineered by AMP Research — the industry leader in retractable running boards — the PowerStep Smart deploys automatically when a vehicle door is opened and retracts flush with the vehicle when the door is closed, keeping the step protected from road debris while the vehicle is in motion.

Key Features:

• Automatic Deploy & Retract: Step extends when the door opens and retracts when the door closes — no manual operation required
• Smart Technology: Integrates with the vehicle's existing door-ajar sensors for seamless, hands-free operation
• Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with a high-strength aluminum step pad and durable composite housing for long-lasting performance
• Non-Slip Step Surface: Textured step pad provides secure footing in wet or muddy conditions
• Low-Profile Design: Retracts fully under the vehicle when not in use, maintaining a clean factory appearance and improving ground clearance
• Weather Resistant: Sealed motor and corrosion-resistant components stand up to harsh weather, road salt, and off-road conditions
• Direct Plug-In Wiring: Uses the vehicle's OEM door-ajar circuit for a clean, reliable installation with no additional switches needed

The AMP Research PowerStep Smart delivers the perfect combination of convenience, safety, and durability. Whether navigating daily commutes or tackling tough terrain, this running board system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle for a factory-quality look and feel.
