Rheem-Ruud 51-106546-87 SelecTech Gen 3 Variable Speed Condenser Motor 230V 3/4 HP OEM

The Rheem-Ruud 51-106546-87 is a genuine OEM SelecTech Gen 3 variable speed condenser fan motor designed for use in Rheem and Ruud residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Operating at 230V with a 3/4 HP output, this third-generation electronically commutated motor (ECM) delivers precise, demand-driven airflow control for air conditioning condensers.

Key Features:

• OEM Genuine Part — manufactured to Rheem-Ruud factory specifications for direct drop-in replacement
• SelecTech Gen 3 ECM Technology — variable speed operation adjusts motor output to system demand, improving energy efficiency
• 230V / 3/4 HP — designed for standard residential and light commercial condenser applications
• Steady, Controlled Airflow — reduces compressor stress and extends overall system service life
• Low Noise Operation — variable speed design minimizes sound output compared to single-speed motors
• Pre-Programmed Configuration — the -87 suffix designates a unit-specific programmed motor variant for targeted system compatibility

The SelecTech Gen 3 series replaces older single-speed condenser motors with intelligent ECM technology that optimizes temperature control and reduces energy consumption. Always match the full part number — including the -87 suffix — against the original motor label and unit service documentation before ordering to ensure correct programming and compatibility.
