SA Design CT545 Sox & Martin: The Most Famous Team in Drag Racing Book

Sox & Martin: The Most Famous Team in Drag Racing is the definitive account of the most celebrated partnership in drag racing history. Written by author Jim Schild with contributions from Buddy Martin, Herb McCandless, and other key figures, this comprehensive volume chronicles every chapter of the legendary Sox & Martin story from beginning to end.

It all started when two young North Carolina racers — Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin — each rising through the ranks independently, came to a fateful decision: rather than race against each other, they would join forces. That partnership, beginning with a 1963 Z-11 Chevrolet, would go on to define an era. Their Plymouth race cars became icons of the sport, and their dominance during drag racing's golden age remains unmatched.
