The Hypertech 752503 Speedometer Calibrator is a plug-and-play electronic programmer designed to correct inaccurate speedometer and odometer readings caused by non-stock tire sizes or aftermarket rear gear ratios on 2006-and-up Dodge Diesel trucks. When you swap to larger tires or re-gear your differentials, the factory ECU loses its calibration reference — resulting in a false speedometer reading, inaccurate fuel economy estimates, and improper automatic transmission shift points. The Hypertech 752503 solves all of these issues quickly and accurately.

Installation takes only minutes: connect the calibrator to the vehicle's under-dash OBD-II port, navigate the on-screen menu to input the new tire height and/or rear gear ratio, and the vehicle's computer is reprogrammed for legally accurate readings. Note that once programmed to a vehicle, the unit is locked to that vehicle until the original factory tune is restored.
