Bluesky MISC CST-3450-35 Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing 3/4 in. x 150 ft. Brown CSST Flexible Gas Pipe

The Bluesky MISC CST-3450-35 is a 3/4-inch x 150-foot corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) coil with a brown polymer jacket, designed for flexible natural gas and liquid propane (LP) gas distribution in residential and light commercial applications. CSST is the modern flexible alternative to rigid black iron pipe, allowing installers to route gas lines through walls, floors, attics, and basements with far fewer fittings and connections.

Key Features:

• Size: 3/4 inch diameter x 150 feet length
• Jacket Color: Brown — for easy system identification
• Construction: Flexible corrugated stainless steel inner core with protective polymer outer jacket
• Fuel Compatibility: Natural gas and liquid propane (LP/LPG)
• Flexible Design: Bends by hand to route around framing members, corners, and obstructions without additional fittings
• Fewer Joints: Single continuous runs reduce the number of threaded connections, lowering potential leak points
• Lightweight: Significantly lighter than rigid black iron pipe, making handling and installation easier
• Long Coil Length: 150-foot coil minimizes splices on longer runs for whole-structure gas piping

CSST flexible gas tubing installs using standard hand tools — typically a tube cutter, razor knife, and adjustable wrenches — without the heavy pipe threading equipment required for rigid pipe. The brown jacket color-codes this tubing system for quick identification during inspection or future service work. Always install per local codes, manufacturer instructions, and applicable ANSI/CSA standards, including required bonding and grounding provisions. Consult a licensed plumber or gas fitter for code-compliant installation.
