ATP Z-338 Automatic Transmission Flexplate 164-Tooth, 13.813" OD

The ATP Z-338 is a direct-fit replacement automatic transmission flexplate engineered to restore proper drivetrain function. The flexplate serves as the critical link between the engine crankshaft and the transmission's torque converter, while also providing the ring gear teeth that engage the starter motor. Over time, the constant flexing caused by torque converter expansion and contraction at varying engine RPMs can lead to cracks or shearing — damage that cannot be repaired and must be addressed with a full replacement. This ATP flexplate is manufactured from high-quality steel with the correct bolt hole spacing and ring gear tooth count to match the original equipment specification.

Key Features:

• 164 ring gear teeth for proper starter engagement
• 13.813-inch outside diameter
• 6 mounting holes with 10.0-inch bolt circle diameter
• High-quality steel construction for long life and durability
• Correct OE bolt hole spacing and tooth count for a precise fit
• Not SFI approved — intended for street/OEM replacement use

This flexplate is a quality OEM-style replacement designed for select 1991–1996 Jeep applications. Professional installation is recommended when replacing a flexplate, as the procedure requires transmission removal.
