Auto Transmiss Parts CA-9096 Carburetor Accelerator Cable

The Auto Transmiss Parts CA-9096 is a direct-replacement carburetor accelerator cable (also known as a throttle cable) engineered to restore precise throttle control to your vehicle. Manufactured to original equipment (OE) specifications, this cable delivers a factory-quality fit and feel without the dealership price tag.

Key Features:

• OE-spec construction — designed to match the original cable in length, end fittings, and routing for a straightforward, no-modification installation
• High-tensile-strength steel inner cable — resists stretching and snapping under regular throttle-pedal use
• Protective polymer outer housing — shields the inner cable from corrosion, moisture, debris, and abrasion for long-lasting, smooth operation
• Includes applicable hardware — common brackets, grommets, and cable ends are included where required for a complete repair

An accelerator cable links the gas pedal to the carburetor throttle plate. Over time these cables stretch, fray, or seize — causing sluggish throttle response, sticking pedals, or loss of engine speed control. The CA-9096 replaces the worn cable with a durable, correctly fitted part to restore confident acceleration and reliable engine management.
