The US Motor Works 25792 Fluid Control Thermostat is a billet-style cast aluminum remote oil thermostat designed to optimize engine and transmission fluid temperatures. Featuring dual 1/2" NPT female inlets and outlets, this thermostat intelligently bypasses the cooler until fluid temperature reaches 180°F, at which point the internal thermostatic valve closes and routes 100% of the fluid through the cooler while maintaining a constant pressure system.

By bypassing the cooler during cold startups, the thermostat helps the engine or transmission reach ideal operating temperature faster — a critical advantage in cold weather climates. Once the set temperature is reached, the cooler is fully engaged to protect against heat-related wear.
