Wells 4F2155 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve

The Wells 4F2155 is a direct-fit replacement Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve engineered to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications for fit, form, and function. The EGR valve plays a critical role in your vehicle's emissions control system by recirculating a controlled portion of exhaust gas back into the engine's combustion chamber, where it mixes with the incoming air/fuel mixture and is burned off again.

By reintroducing inert exhaust gases into the combustion process, the EGR valve helps lower combustion temperatures, significantly reducing the production of harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) that contribute to air pollution. This valve uses a linear-type design and includes a gasket or seal for a complete, leak-free installation.

Key Features:

• Meets or exceeds OE specifications for precise fit and reliable performance
• Linear EGR valve design for accurate flow control
• Includes gasket or seal for a complete installation
• Single-connector design for straightforward plug-and-play replacement
• Superior wear and corrosion resistance for long service life
• Helps reduce NOx emissions and maintain emissions compliance

Common Symptoms of a Failing EGR Valve:

• Rough idle or stalling
• Hard starts or decreased engine power
• Reduced fuel economy
• Pinging or knocking under load
• Increased emissions or failed emissions test
• Illuminated Check Engine light

The Wells 4F2155 EGR valve is a quality aftermarket replacement that restores proper emissions system function and helps your engine run cleanly and efficiently.
