Wells 4F1430 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve

The Wells 4F1430 is a direct-fit replacement Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for fit, form, and function. Designed as a drop-in replacement, this valve restores proper emissions system operation and engine performance.

How It Works:

The EGR valve controls the flow of exhaust gases recirculated back into the engine's combustion chamber. By reintroducing a metered portion of inert exhaust gas into the air/fuel mixture, the valve lowers combustion temperatures and reduces the production of harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) — keeping your vehicle compliant with emissions standards.

Key Features:

• Meets or exceeds OE specifications for reliable, accurate performance
• Linear EGR valve design for precise flow control
• Single connector — for mating connector, use Wells 1P2707
• Superior wear and corrosion resistance for long service life
• Precise fit for straightforward installation
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in emissions and engine management components

Common Symptoms of a Failing EGR Valve:

• Rough idle or stalling
• Hard starting
• Decreased power or reduced fuel economy
• Pinging or engine knock
• Illuminated check engine light or failed emissions test

The Wells 4F1430 EGR valve is a quality aftermarket solution for restoring your vehicle's emissions control system to proper working order.
