Wells 4B1706 Evaporative Emissions System Leak Detection Pump

The Wells (WVE by NTK) 4B1706 is a direct-fit replacement Evaporative Emissions System (EVAP) Leak Detection Pump engineered to restore proper fuel vapor containment and emissions system integrity. The leak detection pump is a critical component of the EVAP system, using a motorized diaphragm to pressurize the evaporative system and allow the ECM to identify any fuel vapor leaks that would otherwise release harmful hydrocarbon emissions into the atmosphere.

When this pump fails, it commonly triggers a check engine light along with EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), signaling that the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system can no longer verify the integrity of the fuel vapor system. Replacing a faulty pump with a quality OE-equivalent unit like the 4B1706 restores accurate leak detection and clears related fault codes.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE-grade replacement — no modification required
• Engineered and tested to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function
• Restores proper EVAP system pressurization and leak detection capability
• Helps eliminate EVAP-related check engine light and diagnostic fault codes
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics (WVE by NTK), a trusted name in professional-grade vehicle electronics

The Wells 4B1706 EVAP leak detection pump is a vehicle-specific fit replacement suitable for professional technicians and experienced do-it-yourselfers looking for a reliable, OE-quality solution.
