Gates 25670 Molded Coolant Hose - EPDM Radiator Hose Replacement

The Gates 25670 is a precision-molded EPDM coolant hose engineered as a direct OEM-quality replacement for radiator, heater, bypass, and other engine cooling system applications. Pre-shaped to match original equipment specifications, it installs quickly and seals reliably without modification.

Key Features:

• EPDM Construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover for long service life
• Electrochemical Degradation Resistance: Engineered to resist ECD — the leading cause of coolant hose failure — by preventing the micro-cracking that allows coolant to break down internal reinforcement
• Vacuum Collapse Resistance: Specifically engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs in many applications
• Wide Temperature Range: Rated from -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C) for reliable performance across all climates and operating conditions
• SAE Certified: Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 standards
• OEM-Quality Fit: Pre-shaped for a precise, leak-free fit to upper, lower, bypass, and heater coolant system positions
• Marine Approved: Approved for use in marine applications in addition to automotive use

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a fully sealed cooling system. The Gates molded coolant hose line is one of the most comprehensive replacement lines on the market, covering a broad range of vehicles and applications.
