Motorad EVP1393 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Motorad EVP1393 is a direct-fit replacement vapor canister purge solenoid (also known as a canister purge valve or EVAP purge solenoid) designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emissions (EVAP) system. This solenoid regulates the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine for combustion, preventing harmful vapors from escaping into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• OEM-quality construction — built to meet and/or exceed original equipment standards for reliable, long-lasting performance
• PWM-calibrated vapor metering — solenoid response is tuned to PCM duty-cycle commands across the full operating range, supporting stable fuel trims and smooth idle
• Fuel-vapor-resistant internal seals — diaphragm and seat materials engineered to withstand long-term hydrocarbon exposure, resisting hardening and cracking that causes OE solenoids to fail
• OE failure mode corrections — root-cause design improvements target known weak points in the original solenoid to help eliminate repeat repairs
• 100% individually tested — every unit verified for coil resistance, actuation, and flow performance before shipment
• Direct-fit replacement — designed for easy installation with no modifications required

A failing purge solenoid can trigger a Check Engine light, cause engine misfires, reduce fuel efficiency, and result in failed emissions tests. The Motorad EVP1393 restores proper EVAP system operation, helping maintain emissions compliance and optimal engine performance.
