Dynamic Friction 1552-1689-01 5000 Advanced Low-Metallic Brake Pads and Hardware Kit

The Dynamic Friction Company 1552-1689-01 is part of the DFC 5000 Advanced brake pad lineup, delivering a low-metallic friction formulation paired with a complete hardware kit for a thorough brake service. Engineered to meet the demands of modern vehicles equipped with ABS and automated braking systems, these pads provide precisely calibrated friction performance for confident, consistent stopping power.

Key Features:

• Low-Metallic Formulation: OEM-grade friction material carefully selected from suppliers across four continents, matched specifically to the vehicle platform and axle position
• Positive Mold Construction: Promotes consistent friction material density throughout the pad for even and predictable wear
• Premium RSR Shims: Assembled with DFC Rubber-Steel-Rubber shims to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH)
• Chamfered and Slotted Design: Where applicable, chamfering and slotting reduce brake noise during operation
• Pre-Scorched Surface: Factory scorching removes uncured bonding agents, minimizing the break-in period and delivering strong stopping power from the very first stop
• ABS and Automated Braking Compatible: Friction material designed to work seamlessly with modern ABS and automated emergency braking systems
• Rotor-Friendly Compound: Formulated to extend both pad and rotor service life while maintaining a consistent pedal feel

The DFC 5000 Advanced series represents Dynamic Friction Company's commitment to vehicle-specific friction engineering, ensuring the correct friction coefficient is delivered at each axle rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. This kit includes everything needed for a complete pad and hardware replacement service.
