Carrier EA36UZ943 Thermostatic Expansion Valve TXV

The Carrier EA36UZ943 is an OEM thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed as a direct replacement for Carrier, Bryant, and Payne HVAC systems. As a critical refrigerant metering component, this valve regulates the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil, maintaining proper superheat and ensuring consistent, efficient system performance across varying load conditions.

The TXV continuously senses temperature and pressure at the evaporator outlet and adjusts its internal orifice opening accordingly. This precise metering prevents both flooding and starving of the evaporator, protecting the compressor and maximizing the system's cooling output.

Key Features:

• OEM Carrier replacement thermostatic expansion valve (TXV)
• Compatible with R-410A refrigerant systems
• Manufactured by Sporlan, a trusted supplier to Carrier
• Sweat (solder) inlet and outlet connections for secure installation
• Engineered for precise superheat control and stable system performance
• Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required
• Compatible with select Carrier, Bryant, and Payne packaged and split systems

Replacing a faulty TXV with a genuine Carrier OEM part ensures refrigerant compatibility, proper calibration, and long-term reliability. Always confirm the correct metering device type and refrigerant type for the existing system before ordering.
