Rein 07K103600A Lower Engine Oil Pan VW 2.5L Oil Sump

The Rein 07K103600A is a direct-fit lower engine oil pan (oil sump) engineered for Volkswagen 2.5L inline-five engines. Bolted and sealed to the bottom of the engine block, this lower oil pan serves as the primary reservoir that holds engine oil until it is drawn up by the oil pump and circulated through the engine.

Oil pan replacement is necessary when the existing pan has been cracked, dented, or structurally compromised by road debris impact, or when the drain plug threads are stripped and no longer capable of maintaining a proper seal. A damaged oil pan that is left unaddressed can lead to oil starvation and catastrophic engine damage.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — matches factory fit, form, and function
• Replaces lower engine oil pan / oil sump on VW 2.5L applications
• Includes oil drain plug port for routine maintenance access
• VAG-recommended sealing compound D174003A2 should be used during installation
• OEM Part Number: 07K103600A
• Supersedes: 07K-103-600-A, 7K103600A

This Rein oil pan kit is a reliable aftermarket solution that restores proper oil containment and protects your engine's lubrication system. Always use the manufacturer-recommended gasket maker or sealing compound when installing to ensure a leak-free fit.
