Trane TFRB24-S Actuator Valve Spring Return 24V HVAC Control Actuator

The Trane TFRB24-S is a spring return valve actuator designed for use in commercial and residential HVAC control systems. Operating on a 24-volt power supply, this actuator provides reliable, automatic valve positioning with a built-in spring return mechanism that drives the valve to its fail-safe position upon loss of power or control signal — a critical safety and system-protection feature.

Spring return actuators like the TFRB24-S are commonly used on two-way and three-way control valves in hydronic heating, chilled water, and fan coil unit (FCU) applications. The spring return function ensures the valve defaults to either fully open or fully closed in the event of a power failure, protecting equipment and maintaining building comfort and safety.

Key Features:

• Spring Return Operation: Automatically returns valve to fail-safe position on loss of power or signal
• 24V Control Voltage: Compatible with standard HVAC low-voltage control systems
• Trane OEM Component: Engineered to Trane specifications for reliable integration into Trane HVAC systems
• Valve Actuator Design: Mounts directly to compatible control valves for precise flow modulation
• Commercial Grade Construction: Built for long-term duty cycles in commercial building automation environments

The TFRB24-S is a genuine Trane OEM replacement actuator, making it the preferred choice for service technicians maintaining Trane equipment. Its straightforward 24V interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of building automation system (BAS) controllers and thermostats.
