Gates 25685 Molded Coolant Hose - Premium Radiator Hose Replacement

The Gates 25685 is a premium molded coolant hose engineered as a direct OEM-quality replacement for radiator, heater, bypass, and other engine cooling system applications. Gates molded coolant hoses are pre-shaped to fit specific applications and deliver a perfectly sealed connection without modification.

Key Features:

• EPDM Construction: Features an EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM cover for long-lasting durability
• Electrochemical Degradation (ECD) Resistance: Engineered with specifically formulated compounds to resist ECD — the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Vacuum Collapse Resistance: Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal support springs in many applications
• Wide Temperature Range: Rated from -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C) for reliable performance in extreme conditions
• SAE Compliant: Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 requirements
• OEM-Quality Fit: Pre-shaped and precision-manufactured to ensure a secure, leak-free fit
• Marine Approved: Approved for use in marine cooling system applications

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a proper seal. Note: Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications.
