Built by Stabilus — the global pioneer in gas spring technology since 1934 — this unit delivers consistent force support and reliable motion control across thousands of operating cycles.

Key Features:

• Compressed nitrogen gas and precision oil-filled damping system for smooth, controlled motion
• Built-in damper slows movement during opening and closing, eliminating sudden or jerky operation
• High-precision sealing and corrosion-resistant materials for long-term durability in demanding environments
• Consistent, repeatable force output maintained throughout the product's service life
• No maintenance or servicing required
• Piston rod-down installation recommended for optimal seal lubrication

The Lift-O-Mat is Stabilus's standard gas spring, designed to assist with lifting and supporting loads while also providing controlled extension speed and damping. It is widely used in automotive, RV, marine, industrial, and powersports applications wherever a reliable, hands-free hold-open function is needed.

Replace worn or failed lift supports with this genuine Stabilus unit for an exact-fit, OE-quality restoration of proper panel operation and safety.
