Cloyes B10212 Timing Belt Tensioner

The Cloyes B10212 is a replacement timing belt tensioner engineered to maintain proper tension throughout the life of the timing belt. Timing belt tensioners are a critical component in belt-driven valvetrain systems, absorbing slack and preventing belt flapping that can lead to premature wear, noise, or catastrophic timing failure.

Key Features:

• CAD designed and manufactured using premium-grade materials for precise OE fit and function
• Provides constant tension on the timing belt during crankshaft revolution to reduce noise and prevent belt slippage
• Meets or exceeds OEM performance requirements for reliable, maintenance-free operation
• Extensively production tested for function, fitment, and durability
• Backed by Cloyes' Limited Lifetime Warranty and over a century of timing drive engineering expertise

Cloyes recommends replacing the belt tensioner and belt idler(s) at the same time as the timing belt, as these components work together to maintain system stability and accurate engine timing. Cloyes has been the industry standard in timing drive systems since 1921, trusted by professional technicians and DIY installers alike.
